How Running 3 Hours a Week Greatly Changed My Work Life

Now that spring is officially here and the weather is getting warmer, I thought I would share about the benefits of running and how it has drastically improved my working life. I hope after reading this article, if you haven't already started running on a weekly basis, you will try to run every week!

1. Running solved my issues at work

When I was stuck in a programming problem, my mind constantly focused on the issue and I couldn’t snap out of it. However, once I decided to take a break and go out running, my mind cleared up after 20 minutes of running. Forty-five minutes in, the problem would usually be solved!*

In other words, running paradoxically took my mind off the problem, and in return, it helped me solve it at the same time.
