After playing fantasy baseball for over 10 years and receiving a Diamond rating in Yahoo Fantasy Baseball, I’ve learned a couple of useful tips to get that rating.

Here are some of them.

You Will Make the Playoffs if You Keep Your Lineup Healthy

Let’s face it, if you join a public league, chances are half of the people there won’t actually stick around for the rest of the season. That means realistically you will be facing off 3 to 4 people who are serious about playing. You can ignore the rest of the dormant players and just focus on the remaining players.

This Is a War of Attrition

Baseball season is long. You just need to outlast the rest of the players. Again, since this is a public league, you aren’t really going against that many contenders. For the ones that are serious, you just need to one-up them in picking up a player on the waiver wire.

Constantly Check the Waiver Wire for Up and Coming Players
